Hey Mark,
Yours is one of the most fascinating travel sites on the internet. your passion for travelling is evident in each and every article you have written. The thing that captivates my attention, is the dispassionate way in which you narrate each of your experiences. Every culture is influenced to an extent by the behavioural patterns set forth by its predecessor's, and that is what gives each culture its identity. To compare cultures and societies with a default, common perspective would be a foolish mistake, as was pointed by you in one of your articles. We all are grateful to you for providing us with such a wealth of information at our fingertips. 😀

Wow, what can I say? Thank you so much for your kind comments. I'm glad my writing comes across in this way, because that's part of what I strive for. I simply write down what I see, rather than what my background would have me see. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but it's good to know it's appreciated. 😀
