I've always been a wanderer as in moved around a lot but hate lacking a purpose and work normally provides that. I'm going through a major crisis of confidence and wondered if some escapism might ease that. Would you recommend doing this walk as a "me space" provider. I'd be doing it on my own and want it to be as cheap as possible, funds being a bit tight. Any thoughts?

Hi Paul.

Definitely. In fact, long walks like this are all about 'me time', as you spend so much time in your own company. That's not to say that you don't meet lots of interesting people and pair up for parts of the walk, but most of it is solo (assuming it's a solo walk).

And with the rhythm of the walk and the lovely landscape, it's not just 'me time', it's 'me, myself and I time'. Highly recommended, assuming you get along with yourself...

Best wishes,

Mark
